Hex Hall #2: Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins

After reading Hex Hall I had high hopes for this series. Sophie seems to be coming into her own and gaining control of her powers with the help of Alice's earlier training. In light of what happened during the school year her Father shows up to whisk her off to Posh London digs. It's not a vacation of fun though. Sophie is going to learn what it means to be a Demon before she resigns herself to the removal process.

With her best friend at her side and her fiance they set off with the looming dread that they will not only be not returning to Hex Hall they might not be together again....  Sophie's life is in danger and now she has to team up with Archer(her mortal enemy and unrequited love) to get answers.

Things and people are not what they seem in this story and it has made for an exceptional read. This book has so far surpassed the first, and left me on the edge of my seat with a wicked cliff hanger! The more I read the more I'm so glad that I finally decided to read this series!
